THE PROGRAM SCALES AND HOW THEY WORK
The heart of PC-Style is a series of scales. PC-Style
uses those scales to show you just how a file "stacks up."
The scales let you compare your writing to a certain set of
standards. Although those standards are pre-set, you will
soon learn how to set them to whatever you want.
The program scales make things simple for you. You
don't need to be concerned with the complexities of how
PC-Style works. All you want is the results, in a readable,
easy to grasp format. And, that's exactly what the scales
are; they reduce EVERYTHING down to a level which allows you
to quickly evaluate your writing.
The scales are the "end process" of PC-Style. After
all the "work" is done, PC-Style paints a picture for you.
That way you can instantly see how your writing was rated.
The individual scales go from "poor" to "best." The overall
ratings range from "poor" to "excellent."
